Winner of menswear category - WHO´S NEXT BLOG Contest

The latest edition of the 8th WHO’S NEXT blog contest, open to young fashion designers all over the world, has once again proved successful.This season, among more than 300 online registrations,four talented designers have stood out.
The contest was divided into four categories, accessories, shoes, womenswear and menswear, category in which Ricardo Andrez was chosen as the winner.
They will be given the opportunity to exhibit for free at the trade show’s two upcoming editions, in January and June 2013.
Twice a year, for the past 18 years, the essential Parisian trade show for fashion professionals,WHO’S NEXT Paris, has been presenting carefully selected brands according to creativity, design and quality criteria.
The trade show is evolving with the main aim of constantly renewing its supply of talented designers.
Hosted in the MR. BROWN area 200 brands are featured, including mens and womens urbanwear and further divided into denim,streetwear, sports lifestyle, sportswear, “authentic” and “urban” categories.

Working For the Man SS13 - Showcase at London Fashion Week
Guimaraes, European Capital of Culture, has handpicked five, independent, Portuguese designers to launch their collections to the British press and buyers, and Ricardo Andrez is one of them.
These designers, who until now have been unavailable in the UK, range from established names that show at Lisbon Fashion Week through to fledgling names in the industry.
Selected for their strong and contemporary aesthetics that also culminate in their pride of heritage, the designers are from the northern Portuguese region, dedicated to the use of the highest quality products and craftsmanship. The resulting collective of work is being presented exclusively to guests with all the designers in attendance to discuss their work, inspiration and unique design processes.
